ABOUT US
Our goal is to help riders and their horses achieve their potential in top tier sport by providing a world-class training base and support services. Our extensive connections within the dressage world enable us to source top quality dressage horses for our clients.

Our training follows the principles developed by Jonny Hilberath over many years of successfully producing elite dressage horses and riders. Jonny has been based at Abbendorf for almost 20 years, training riders from over 30 countries.
In 2015 Abbendorf entered a new phase. Finnish rider, Sara Aarnio, purchased the property and invested in renovating and upgrading it to meet the high standards required for Olympic-level training. The caliber of riders and horses trained here makes every day an education for us all.
PROFESSIONAL BASE
AH Abbendorf offers professional riders the opportunity to train with Jonny, while pursuing their own training businesses from our premises. While operating independently, they are also part of our team and can benefit from the support and expertise we provide.

Professionals such as Juliane Brunkhorst, Vera Nass and Natalie Hobday have made us their business and competition base, while pursuing their training goals with Jonny.
​
We also welcome riders for shorter periods – a week or some months – whatever time they can spare from their working schedule.
